The Last Thing He Told Me - Community Book Club Discussion Aug. 9
This monthly Community Book Club for adults will include the book "The Last Thing He Told Me" by Laura Dave. There is a limited number of copies available to check out at the Vinton Public LIbrary. We will be meeting on Saturday, August 9 at 9:15 a.m. Center Point Historical Society Celebrating its 50th birthday
On Sunday, August 17, the Center Point Historical Society is throwing itself a 50th birthday party. From 2 to 5:00 pm the party will be held at 700 E. Washington St. in Center Point. The Depot Museum will be open and there will be activities for kids of all ages at the Strait Log Cabin. The Westcott Barbecue food truck will be on the grounds. There will be free lemonade, and Heather’s Cake Studio birthday cookies.
