IT’S TIME FOR Z102.9’S GOWN TOWN!
Z102.9’s Gown Town is coming Sunday, February 23rd from noon to 3 p.m. Anyone in high school who needs a prom dress and/or accessories can get them for free from Z102.9 at the Kirkwood Linn County Regional Center on Boyson Road in Hiawatha. Share your donations of dresses, separates, shoes, jewelry and accessories now so everyone can look their best! Do you know a child that loves to write or draw stories?! Vinton Public Library is hosting a Kid Author Event! Local children are encouraged to write their own story and have a meet and greet with the public. Children will come to the event, share their story, sign autographs, and can have a chance to read their story aloud. Kid Author Guidelines: 3 Age Categories -Kindergarten-2nd -Grade -3rd-5th Grade -6th-12th Grade Stories can be handwritten or typed Must not exceed more than 20 pages 10,000 word limit Must be on 8.

Washington, Center Point.The chocolate party for all ages will have a chocolate fountain, a hot cocoa bar, games—including chocolate bingo—and vendors.Like last year, Brittany Aldrich, of Mount Vernon-area Big Creek Chocolates, will have her truffles, molded chocolates, and more for sale.
